Support Me

Thank you for thinking about supporting me. I really appreciate it and do not take it for granted.

By God’s grace, I have more than enough to meet my needs but it wasn’t always this way. Many years ago I was homeless and things could have gotten quite bad, were it not for the support of a local charity for homeless people.

I was 18 at the time. In addition to providing shelter and food, the charity also offered counselling and supported me through a difficult period. I stayed in education and they helped me to get a council flat. The social worker who looked after me even gave me a small fridge when I got my council flat. A seemingly small act of kindness that meant a LOT to me.

Why am I writing all this? The need is just as great today as it was back then – perhaps even greater.  Therefore, I’d like to invite you to support me by donating to any of these two charities:

  • Single Homeless Project (SHP): A London-wide charity working to prevent homelessness and help vulnerable and socially excluded people to transform their lives https://www.shp.org.uk/

  • BCC Hope Foundation Foodbank: A foodbank that helps the most vulnerable people, when all other avenues of support have been exhausted and no other help is available https://mybcc.churchsuite.co.uk/donate

Thank You for your Support

Regards

Bemi
